Kinda going for the cyber/glitch/alien vibe.
The eyes on his head are a fake, his real eyes are the block dots next to them.
His blood flows through the tubes connected to his shoulders and calves. It's a saturated colour to warn possible predators that this fella ain't gonna give you any nutrients and might instead be the death of you.
Looks friendly thanks to the decoy pair of eyes but has those sharp teefs and an inner jaw which I'll take a crack at drawing on a second layer.
