Kit/hatchling edit

Postby Galifey » Wed Aug 15, 2018 12:46 pm

The hatchlings of the dracats (my name for them) have spines on their backs so they look more threatening to predators. The spines fall off when they are fully grown, about one year, and the spines are usually kept and used for making pigment. The pigment is then mixed with water, to make paint. Some species melt wax from beehives and use that to make the paint.
