Lazalia Entry #2

Postby wildflower. » Tue Oct 10, 2017 6:48 pm

Oml i'm so bad at drawing bird legs and- let's just get right to the info..

Lazalia
Pronounced: Luh-zay-lee-uh

Lazalias roam the partially dense forests of oak and pine. they settle near rock areas for safety, elevation, and warmth.

when they feel elevated enough and comfortable, they take to the skies. Their small wings only allow them to reach half the speed as a full-grown gryphon would.

A wild Lazalia would feast on honey, fruits, plants and flower petals. Flower petals are a major nutritional food source in their diet. It can trigger energy and vitamins, which is why most Lazalias are very lean and not skinny or plump. One dangerous food to a Lazalia are Strawberries, Rasberries, and Blackberries. Their stomachs aren't adapted to the excessive juices that the berries provide, and their tiny stomachs have little acid, and the juice will irritate the acid. It can cause severe stomach aches, heart attacks and temporary paralyzation of the throat because the acid is constantly flowing upwards due to regurgitation and the throat muscle is too busy fighting it back, which can also cause choking. Rarely, it causes death.

Lazalias are widely hunted by humans for their wings and large rack of antlers, not just humans but wolves! A Lazalia can hear for miles and pick up vibrations from at least a mile away with the small pad-like tissue on the outer layer of its back legs, it's covered by feather tufts.
