Of course to a young foal everything looks the same. Grass is grass, if it looks good it's probably edible. The young foal noticed that this particular plant looked a little bit different from the rest of the plants around it. She says the plant was delicious when she took a tiny nibble, and wanted to eat more. She managed to eat most of the plant. Nearby was another plant that looked just as delicious as the first. The little filly took a big bite out of that one too and trotted happily back to Meara with her little tail in the air.
She says she found the plants near to the foal herd underneath a small stone she had unturned to look for worms. The plants were small in size and had a tempting, enticing smell.

The little filly trotted happily around her adoptive mother, careful to avoid the nests of eggs as forewarned by the alicorn mare. Eluna's soft gaze rested upon the prancing filly fondly as she stretched her wing to cover the eggs from the blinding sun.
The little filly stopped behind Eluna, reared and shook out her mane before galloping around the area. Eluna kept her gaze on the filly, watching the ground for holes or stones that could cause the little horse to trip. She noticed the stone in the way of the filly's energetic path and lifted her head to call out "Watch for the stone, my dear! We wouldn't want you to trip and sprain a hoof,
now would we?" Eluna's soft voice reached far enough to cause the filly to skid to a stop in a cloud of dust and gallop back the other way. She stopped again in front of Eluna, blinked at her with her big, light blue eyes, flicked her tiny ears and swished her fluffy tail. Delicately she trotted up to the much, much older alicorn and pressed her muzzle into Eluna's. Eluna returned the gesture, staring at her adoptive daughter's pretty little face, and then pulled her head back.
"Eluna... why is it so dusty?" The little filly asked, deciding to fold her legs and sit in front of the mare.
"The Great War, my dear. It happened a long time ago, where the unicorns and horses and pegasi, and the alicorns, too, all fought each other for power. The land paid dearly for our mistakes." The little filly gazed at her with awe and spoke again.
"What did the land used to look like?"
"It was all lush and beautiful, fresh, green grass everywhere for horses to eat, and thick canopies of trees and glimmering water.
You would have loved to see Arraspel before the war." The dark colored filly nodded, then pulled herself to her feet and pranced up to the nearest dead tree she could find. "Is this a tree?"
"Yes, but it used to be much thicker and stronger. It had thick green leaves on the top." Eluna described it as visually as she could from her own memory.
"Sounds preeeetttyyy!" The foal pranced off again, her tail high in the air. Eluna chuckled, and returned her attention to the eggs.

Bubbly, optimistic, and easygoing are three words that easily describe this foal. She's also very curious and loves to find or try new things. She doesn't understand the concept of danger quite yet and is willing to put herself and others at risk if it means finding a cool new tree or a hidden hollow. She's always interested in learning something new and enjoys exploring and discovering. She is usually able to find something to be happy about and she likes her happiness to be contagious. She's not afraid of the spotlight or any kind of attention, and has an easy time making friends. She does happen to talk, a lot, and loses focus or sometimes doesn't pay attention, she is distracted easily. She loves being around other horses and having a grand old time with just about anyone. She doesn't give up either, unless she truly believes it's a lost cause, and is willing to disobey and may sometimes have to be dragged away from a situation. Overall this little filly is a bundle of bounces, happiness, and overall optimism, nothing much can put her down in the dumps and she is always off raving over a worm or a fancy stone.
