This is Lanterna. Opposing her name, she doesn't actually glow or anything. It is said she will be one to change the future for non-humans- her choices will light the way. Hence the name given to her.

She was adopted when she was small into a rich kingdom where she grew up to be loved by her father- but hated by her mother. She was the eldest of the four other siblings. Three of them are princesses, and the other two are princes. However, everyone else is pureblood human. As she is only half human. Her abilities do not lay with fighting or negotiating, but rather magic and kindness. Everyday she goes into town and plays with the children and helps the parents and any other nice things. She has put on different shows to entertain and dazzle people with her growing magic.

But her father, the kind, has grown ill. And her mother has taken over the kingdom. Any non-human or half-human are being driven out of the town that harbors their castle- but perhaps soon to be, no longer will Lanterna belong here either...

By the way, I think the lineart is based off of either Ty Lee, or Katara. This is the contest I colored/edited for- viewtopic.php?t=330707
