Mountain lion/rattlesnake/lizard/dragon/bird thing.... Idk. Major WiP right now. Finished! For now.... I love these little babes so much I don't know if I'll be able to refrain from designing a mascot or adding child and egg lines....
Tail is very strong, they do not have back legs, their wings are too small to fly when present - an uncommon feature. The fewer the spines on the tail the rarer the Sanbirbon. Females typically have a smaller head crest than males, as the larger creasts are a sign of greater strength, but both are very protective and can breed with any gender (even undefined genders).

I would not recommend an adopt limit, but I would recommend an adopt cooldown of 1-2 weeks, and perhaps a custom limit of 5 for non staff, 7 for staff. It is also recommended that some eggs from each breeding be adopted out, but this of course is at the parents' owners' discretion based on the number of eggs in the breeding.
I would also gladly help you run these adopts should I place.

Main Info
Sanbirbons are a pony-sized dragon from an island untouched by human hands. The terrain is very rocky and stiff, although vegetation is abundant ad makes up most of their diet. Despite lacking back legs, Sanbirbons are still rather fast along this terrain and almost any other they have been placed in. They are often brightly colored and patterned, and they love to show off their bright crests and tail spines. Both of these are used for two purposes. The first is self defense, as the tips of the spines and crest are extremely sharp and the plating itself hard the break. The second is for mating. The brighter and larger a crest, or the more abundant the tail spines, the more preferred a Sanbirbon is as a mate. However, not every Sanbirbon follows this rule, as some prefer to choose by personality and demeanor.
Breeding Info
Sanbirbons always mate for life, and if their mate (or mates) should pass, it is extremely rare for them to take another. This affection and solid bond has manifested from the fact that Sanbirbons, in their relation to dragons, do not need a surrogate parent to mate if they are of the same gender or undefined genders. In truth, genders mean little to the Sanbirbon packs, as everyone is treated equally.
Mating requires 2-4 Sanbirbons, who will then perform a sacred ritual together to decide who of the group will bear the eggs. This particular individual can - and often does - vary each time a breeding ceremony is performed. The chosen individual will lay anywhere from 2-8 eggs the size of apples after a two week period, and most heavily influences the future Sanbies in looks and edits. Each egg needs lots of care and attention from all of its parents and family members for another month before young Sanbies hatch from the eggs. Any under-nurtured or forgotten egg that does not hatch will enter stasis until it is found by a Sanbirbon who can nurture its life force back into being.
Every group of Sanbirbon mates can breed up to four times in their lifetime, but most of the young Sanbies will leave their home packs to start one of their own or join another. This has nothing to do with their families in most cases, but is borne of their curious and adventurous natures as children and young adults.
