hello !! i'm immask1, but most people call me lonk. i've been in the plumie community for almost the full two years, since june of 2014 ! it's insane to think of how far this community has grown. i currently own 5 plumerians, and while i'm very quiet in the community at the moment, i used to stream far too much for my own good, and still have many friends that i've met through plumies. i'm always online to be honest, and i'm constantly lurking on the fanclub, suggestions thread, and i end up leading myself back to the created pets board at least 2.5 million times a day. this species has a special place in my heart, so that's why i was motivated to try out to be an artist :'0

for my designs, i tend to usually go with a natural base coat, a light underbelly, and unnatural markings. i hate myself for this, and have made designs without these factors, but lord, do i overuse them. i've also found myself using far too much pink, blue, brown, and red in my designs. my line edits usually come out looking alright, and i usually don't overdo them- sometimes, too many edits can create for a messy design. however, i guess the one thing that may (or may not) be good about the way i design is how my designs aren't too simple, yet they're recreatable. i know from a personal standpoint that many plumerian designs can be extremely complicated to the point where it takes at least an hour and a half to draw the design for a simple doodle. i think my designs aren't like that- they're not a single spot on the back, but they're not all of van gogh's artwork put onto a single canvas. from my perspective, this is a good thing. while many complicated designs can turn out beautifully, they can be wicked hard to redraw. forgive me if it seems like i'm attacking complex designs, but sometimes less can give a little bit more.
as for previous experience, i'm an artist for this species, and i have more examples of my designing capabilities in my gallery.
