Oh gosh i'm really bad at writing things so i just kind of winged it, please forgive me,, ;w;
This is the nocturnal Crested Lynx Civet, a species distantly related to the Malay Civet.
It lives in the Boreal Forest biome (appears in both Canada and Russia)
Despite their pelt having a rather thin appearance, their fur is cottony and their skin is thick to survive the cold winters. Their paws also have a thin webby membrane, to help them wade through marshes in the summer.
They are also omnivores, and thrive mostly on small animals and berries. (their stomachs have adapted to help them digest more toxic berries safely)
Although they generally live alone, adults will occasionally hunt together and share when food is scarce.
They communicate with bird-like and mouse-like chirps and warbles.
The white tuft on the tail is generally fluffier and larger on females, since their main purpose is to give their young something to follow in the dark. (much like the white tip on a fox's tail)
I think that's it! if i should add something let me know :O
