Trying to keep it simple until I have the techniques down.
Anyways, I was thinking of Clydesdales while making this one, so... yeah.

Coat: Chocolate brown with medium roaning
Markings: Four white socks and a blaze

When making the roaning, I suggest making your strokes from the top line down, rather than horizontally. ^^
Also, look at references and notice how horses aren't just one color. They have different shading and highlighting just in the colors of their hair. o3o ie, under the arms, the belly, parts of the neck and face, etc
