Physical description: A lithe blue grey she-cat with a slightly darker hooded overcoat, black mask and paws. Shorter front legs and longer back give this she-cat a swaying stride and powerful climbing abilities; as well as a unique hunting crouch. Though her overall appearance may be bland in comparison to others, her striking violet eyes stare intensely with both curiosity and determination, overtaking her fragile features.

Shadestep is a very brave she-cat, to the point where she can be quite foolhardy. Unafraid of seemingly everything she marches forward with a sure step and encourages other to do the same. Blind to the fears and worries of those around her Shadestep can inadvertently step over others and their feelings in her hurry to succeed and concur - even in a simple social situation.

Shadestep could be called a romantic, or more appropriately, some one who is "in love with love". The tragedies of star crossed lovers, and the heartbreak of misunderstandings all resonate on a level somewhere between heartbreaking understanding and jovial enjoyment with her. Shadestep, even though she preaches lasting love, know little about it or how much work it takes to make a relationship work, she is quite naive and quite sensitive to being told so.

With her head in the clouds of romance, it is no wonder Shadestep enjoys spending her time in a fantasy land.
