Thought I'd keep it simple and easy to recreate since it'll be something you mentioned for a comic. There are some tribal markings on the back, just a shade darker than the rest. I can add some accents to brighten them up if you want.

It's very nice, I like the green and black, true it's a bit plain.
But that bandanna fixes that completely!
Over all, I don't think you need to change anything, it's a picture of perfection <3

Couldn't get the markings to look right, so I wanted to at least make the fur look a little more interesting. looked a bit like storm clouds and I couldn't resist the lighting-like markings . And the snake is actually loosely based on my own pet corn snake that i can't have where i'm living now
