L Lawliet

Lazarus
[Lah-zah-russ]
Lazarus is a masculine name of Hebrew origin that means ''God has helped'' - which is rather ironic for
Lazarus is not the religious type.

It is quite hard to not tell that Lazarus is a male due to him being rather masculine. Though, if you
were to somehow get confused, it's best to not ask him directly for he does not appreciate people
getting mixed up with his gender, and you're sure to be left knowing a few more words than what
you started with.

In human years, Lazarus is around the age of 24.

Lazarus is a homosexual male and had known this since his first crush was on a male and he has
never felt any attraction to the opposite gender.

Lazarus, at first, can come off as antisocial and rather blunt and rude. This is due to him being
defensive, not wanting to let people come close only to hurt him in the long run. He'd much rather
live a life in solitude and not get hurt rather than opening his heart up to someone only to get it
returned to him in pieces. Though he is a well-spoken English man, he tends to have a mouth of
a sailor whenever someone pushes his buttons and annoys him. He is a worrier, cautious about
every action he makes and how each scenario would affect him depending on the route he went
down. Another thing about Lazarus is that he is very symbolic and superstitious to the point that
even the trinkets and accessories that he wears all have their very own meanings. Once you
start to get to know him, however, you'll soon find that he is a rather sensitive male who can
empathise and sympathise with others. Someone who tends to give charity wherever he can to
those he knows deserve it and someone who will offer advice to those who ask for it - but it's
very rare to break through the armour he has built up to protect his heart from pain and betrayal.
Love is a feeling that is now alien to him for he has not felt it in such a long time and so if he
feels even the slightest tug of it on his heart strings he will tend to become more cold around
the individual in attempt to push them away rather than welcoming them in with open arms like
some would do if they saw the other they liked had an interest in them. Though, if the one
who caught his eye were to stay even if Lazarus would try to scare them away, his trust in
them will only grow stronger and thus their bond would be tighter - he'd gladly let them slip
under the armour he values so much and happily let them inhabit his heart. Overall, though
he may appear as a cynical man with intentions solely based on himself, he can be quite a
gentleman with a kind and caring heart as long as you know how to slip under his heavy defence.

Due to Lazarus being a very superstitious male who has a knack for symbology and tends to
give everything he uses or touches a meaning, the beads in which hang from his tail and
antlers are not left out. To him, each bead that he has on each string is one individual worry
in which he carries as a metaphorical burden wherever he goes until he feels it's the right
time to move on from it, or when he comes to terms with the fact he is not the one in control
of that problem. When he feels it's time to forget the problem or simply move on from it,
he will go to the deepest part of a woodland or forest and take the string of beads, tying
it to one of the branches. To him, this ritual is symbolic of passing on his problems to the
earth once more for they are not his any more, or that he simply cannot control which course
the problem may go to - and thus to him the burden is lifted and given to the forest to keep
hold of instead.
