This is my first entry as well as my cover page for the Hell Raisers artist contest. I'm not crazy about the markings, but I like how the wings turned out.
This is Calor, a female Hell Raiser with only five fears, and would be a Theta or Kappa rank in a pack. With wings, a snake-like tail and ram horns, she is a more unique Hell Raiser, even though she has more common colours for her markings and fur.
FEARS;
1. The fear of the dark and of the night. Calor is terrified of the dark, and the moment the sun begins to set, she needs to find someplace with light, otherwise she feels vulnerable and weak, and cannot sleep or even stay calm. It is her biggest fear.
2. The fear of loud noises. Any loud noise, whether it be something falling or a shout, will send shivers down her spine and cause her to panic. Calor hates fireworks, trucks, and even loud animals such as dogs, making her prefer to stay away from cities, towns, and other large human settlements.
3. One thing that confuses and scares Calor is time. Though she knows it exists, she only becomes afraid when she is thinking about the concept of time, mostly because she is quite intelligent, and this is one of the few things she cannot understand, and with time being so big and important it scares Calor that something so large, something that has to do with her, is so hard to understand.
4. The fear of being alone. Calor hates to be by herself, and if she is alone, she will begin to panic. She likes to be able to see that someone else is there, whether it be human, Hell Raiser, or even just a fly, she feels safe in the company of another creature.
5. The fear of being in small spaces. Calor is a terrible claustrophobic. Being the size of a Great Dane, like most other Hell Raisers, she is a large creature, which makes her nervous very often, since she takes up lots of space. She doesn't like large groups either, but again, she can't be alone.
