Zingles are small turtle-like creatures. They are very fast and can be nearly impossible to see them when they are moving. Most people believe Zingles are faster than their cousins the turtles because of their large feathery wings that are suspended above their shells. This, however, is not the case. A Zingle gets its speed from its life source: Soulsong. It is kept in a small necklace either around its neck or around its tail. A trace amount of Soulsong is also kept in the small music note on their front leg. This helps protect them if their Soulsong necklace gets destroyed or lost, as it only works when the chain is resting on their skin.
Zingles are usually very daring creatures. They will test the limits of their rock-solid shell and their decorative wings by doing the craziest of activities like cliff- and sky-diving, all without any safety equipment besides their goggles.
