Here she is. Lumi is her nickname. Lumi's real name Illuminara but it's so long people just call her Lumi for short. Lumi was named for her bright purple "luminous" colors. Somehow out of parents both with brown eyes, Lumi got those gorgeous baby blues. Lumi's name is deceptive though, very pretty and pleasant sounding but she's far from that in reality. Lumi is gorgeous and friendly and kind in person but has a dark side. Illuminara is a Mercenary.

Weapons:

Lumi is equipped with that dangerous looking knife you see her holding. Mercenaries call it a gutting knife and the shape shows you why. It has it's own special sheath as you can see, the top lifts up and you slide the knife in the sheath and when you close the sheath, it closes over the whole top of that special part of the blade and snaps in front and back thus protecting the leg. That's why the sheath looks so um.. fat shall we say.

Lumi's archery arrows are set with feathers (Fletching?, my archery is rusty.) the colors of her pelt. Her bow and quiver (And the sheath for the knife.) are all gem studded from her reaping the spoils of her profession.

Now here's Lumi's unique weapon. You might not think it a weapon at first. Those little gears you see in her braids and tail are not just little accents. They are actually brass gears that have had 2 slits cut in the center, pounded outward where the slit is creating a hole for the hair to go through and then smoothed out to keep from cutting the hair off. The gears as shown are weapons because each little edges of the gear have also been hammered into razor sharpness and so when she swirls her braids or tail, ya better get out of her way. (Not shown, 2 gears on the other side of the tail.) When not in use as a hair weapon, the gears can adequately suffice as throwing stars.

Other accessories:

Ok, now, lets see... what's harmless? Hmmm. She wears a gold 3 chain bar earring with a single ruby on her left ear and a similar bracelet like large ruby cuff like piece of jewelry over the top of her tail.

On her left fore leg you'll find a steam punk(ish) (kind of?) bracer made out of a recycled brass pipe that has been fitted with 2 small brass gears which suffice the function of buttons to hold the bracer in place with 2 leather straps and it's lined with lambs wool riveted in place with chrome rivets (Hard to see.). At the bottom of the bracer barely visible is some minor brass chain mail to protect her ankles. (I do have all 4 bracers available but wanted to leave the other 3 off to show the markings.)

I think that about sums up Illuminara's accoutrements. I have a steam punk monocle available, but it seemed too much. I am working on a headpiece. It's not a skull, but I think you'll like it.

I also wanted to know if you wanted her nose pierced.

Anyhow, enjoy the new character. I hope I win, I put a lot of thought and time into her and I don't role play, so if you do not want her, I would like to put her up for auction.

Hmm, seems I forgot to do the headpiece but at the moment it may make her seem busy, the idea was a sort of skull cap with feathers coming off of it but I'll only do this for you if you want me to, I never got to it and can do it after the contest if you want.
