Name: Brezza Calda (Italian for Warm Breeze)
Reason behind my name: I love Italian, I am fluent and I think that Breeze is a lovely word in English, I felt it might seem plain so I did it in Italian, so to add a spark of difference to it. I chose Breeze because that is how her personality is, floaty and slightly pushy against a warm summer's day, but has the potential to be stronger, kind of like a breeze. I also figured if her name matches her personality, why not add a little more? I added 'Calda' which means warm, so that her name could not only make her individual, but also sum up her personality and temper.
Age (at most 200 years):80 - Teen I guess.
Gender: Female
Antler type: Caribou, I think that Caribou are majestic and wondorous, they are know for their endurance and survival skills which makes them seem symbolic of everything that I would want a charrie to be. Also, their antlers remind me of trees, which I thought was quite cool for a wolf. And ironic considering wolves in today's world eat caribou, so they could represent harmony between life.
Marking Types: I based my markings off a Scottish wild cat, I attempted to copy their unique tabby markings, I chose a slightly different color scheme than that of a Scottish wild cat, but it is a color scheme based off that of both lion and tabby, the lion is the gold and the tabby is the brown. Her ruff (mane I think?) is a slightly darker and mottled version of the color that is the base of her fur.
About her appearance (explanation): Her eyes are Ice blue, which is irregular in Scottish Wildcats but fairly common in cats, I think they give her eyes a more intense feel to give her more character. Her eyes match her jewel on her 'shin guard' thingy. They give her a pop of color and interest against her fairly muted color palate. I think being intense is part of Brezza's charisma, so if I can represent it in her appearance as well as her personality then it would be really good.
Her Lion tail, obviously means she is more of a Western breed, but I chose to make her this way because Lions are fearsome and royal, they are to be respected, they tie in with the Caribou antlers, the humble survivor: The Caribou joined with the king of the animals: The Lion, it creates a sort of symbolism, showing that she could be both, that just because she has aspects of weakness (impossible not to) she has strengths to be respected as well.
Her extra accessories (that are not the ones you drew
) are made up of chains and two silver rings. Brezza has an obsession over things with pretty noises, she loves the way the chains clink. The rings on her tail are made of silver and set with sapphire gems, they are durable and meant to live through whatever she does. The chains on her antlers were actually there as a result of her being nosy and curious by a bunch of chain links she liked. She tripped and got them stuck among her antlers, she figured it was actually an okay look and it made a beautiful tinkling noise when she ran. She left it to go along with her tail accessories.
Region: Western.
Rank:Defender/guard
Parents:Deceased. Her father ran away, and was then presumed dead.
Personality:Her personality is generally kind, she has a lot to offer and isn't afraid to show it. She comes across as bold and loud and most of all proud, and this can annoy others but she does not ever seem to care. She tries to help those around her but can get distracted easily and often ends up daydreaming or exploring, her temper can get very short when she is upset by something or if she is fighting others. Her boldness and volume tend to get her into many a scrape, more dominant wolves tend to get angry if she forgets and order or chooses not to follow one, she wouldn't lie, she does enjoy a fight, but she has been left with many a scar from them. She hates having other wolves look down on her, her worst nightmare is being laughed at, she cowers and shies when other wolves do, this has left her with a dry sense of humor. She is confident around male wolves, but never has thought of a mate, it hasn't crossed her dizzy mind. She has an extremely different sense of what her purpose is from any other wolf. She isn't particularly nurturing or motherly and she doesn't like the idea of being tied down by pups.
So to sum up:
> Kind:
She is kind but not overly sweet.
>Bold:
She is loud proud and not afraid of what wolves will say.
>Distracted:
She is distracted easily by her fantasies and dreams.
>Temper:
Loses her temper easily.
History:
Brezza Calda (I will call her Brezza for short) was born to a young mother and a young father. They themselves had met in the western territory and had had Brezza as a result of young, stupid love. She was the only one of her litter to live, her two brothers were born dead and were buried somewhere by the mountains of the island.
Her parents did their best to protect and teach Brezza, her father taught her to be strong and fearless, her mother taught her to be swift and clever. Her mother died when out hunting, stabbed through the heart by a swinging Caribou buck. When Brezza's mother died, she became tougher and more solitary, her father, driven mad with grief left the territory to pursue life as a rogue and a loner. She never saw him again, she always felt anger when she thought about him, he had deserted her without thought, left her to die.
Brezza learned to live without her parents and grew up relatively happy considering her circumstances. She worried about little and although she had not ever had many friends, she never felt she needed any and she always felt secure and sound wherever she happened to be in the territory. As she grew she knew she must become less independent and actually join with the life of the pack so she attempted to put what knowledge she had of what her parents had taught her, to find Zena, the Alpha Leader and train to be a guard, when her mother had died and her father had deserted her, Brezza had decided that she wanted to put her life, talents and everything she had into protecting her fellow race. She wanted to protect them and keep them safe, like her parents had failed to do. She wanted to be everything her father hadn't been, she felt an ever burning fury that he had left her alone all those moons ago.
Brezza avoided cities where the humans in the stories of her puppyhood had once roamed. Seeing the occasional human bone always gave her a shiver at thinking about what had happened to the humans. She sought desperately after Zena, she eventually found her and was joined into the pack, she was trained and grew to be a guard, ready to fight, kill, die or hunt for her pack in a heartbeat.
she set her life to being the best wolf she could for her pack, she got into many brawls, mainly because of her dislike of orders and was constantly being dealt scars for her outbursts, she attempted kindness, but most of the time but her temper sometimes (usually) got the better of her, her fear of being mocked made her quite nervous around her fellow wolves. Brezza gradually settled as her role as Guard and was always striving to do better, but never quite achieving it.
Today she is still the same, she tries to help everyone she can, she still tries to be better and she still dreams of being alpha.
Facts:
(I didn't know if you wanted them to be quoted or whatever, so I just made the facts fit in with what I said about Brezza, I didn't change them I just didn't think you wanted us to quote out your facts
)
>Brezza had chosen to wear items on her, but she is only allowed things from pieces of clothing to jewelry. She refuses to wear bones as this is an insult to her prey.
>As she is female she does have antlers which is unlike actual deer and elk, but they are smaller then that of the males.
>Her shin brace represents her rank in the pack, which is guard. She wears it proudly.
