What is a Heyew?
A heyew is an extremely fluffy creature built for the sole purpose of comforting you! Heyews do not have many defense mechanisms, their only one being the sharp canine-like teeth in their mouth. Heyews use feelers located on the ears to accurately diagnose their patient. This is a useful tool for doctors, and can be life saving. Heyews have sterilized saliva, and inside them is a pocket where they can store or clean medical equipment like needles and scalpels. Heyews commonly smell like different types of flowers, or minty. This species has human-like hands, which make it possible for them to hold syringes and even use them. They do not have nails on their fingers so they can't scratch you. They are a wise species, most honed in the field of medicine and surgery. They are able to speak in their patients native language. Their fur is softer than a kittens, which is perfect for petting when their patient feels stressed. Similarly to stuffed animals, a heyew can be squeezed tightly, so patients can rest easy without worrying about squishing their heyew too tightly or in their sleep. Heyews are personalized for each patient and form close bonds with them. Despite their loyalty to their patient, when they are unneeded they are capable of changing and suiting the needs of their new patient. It's most common for a heyew to have a curly tail, their tails bounce as they walk and are very entertaining to watch. Heyews are omnivorous but primarily sustain themselves on flowers. They range anywhere from 8"-10" long excluding their tails. All heyews have some type of cross pattern in their fur, which indicates they are a heyew and are able to heal you.
