Lantern Lights are a creature I designed. They look like cats, though slightly more wispy at ends and such, and their tail carries a lantern, always with a deep crack in it. These cats also wear a mask on their face with an expression, which varies depending on their creation's backstory, which will be explained in a moment. The cats have big, bushy tails, and the ability to float in the air, as well as emit light. These cats can have part of the light they are made up of come off, in which case the cat can be injured or start having personality problems, such as split personality, mental problems, such as insanity, or physical problems, such as not being able to preform certain tasks. But how is a Lantern Light created? They are created whenever a lantern is dropped by someone, and a crack appears. The light seeps out, and will create a Lantern Light. Depending on how the person who dropped the light was feeling before they did, the mask of the cat will reflect it. But what if two deep cracks that aren't connected appear on a lantern? You get two Lantern Lights, twins. They may never meet, they may always be with each other, but they will resemble each other and often one will be missing what the other has. One may be very athletic but not very kind, and the other the other way around. The lantern they carry around with them is the one they emerged from. Losing the lantern can cause great distress, and when a Lantern Light is a twin, they only will have half of the lantern. When ever two go to breed, the male will steal a lantern, and give it to the female. The female will then drop it, and they will most likely get one child, maybe two. They always start as a baby when they hatch from a lantern, and then they grow. They are made of light, able to solidify, and the lantern is chained to their tail. Each has a different light color depending on the mood as well.
This is the description I put on a page when I originally thought of selling the species. But, I decided not too, and so now I'd like to get a good line-art made for it. Here is what is needed, and anything with a * means bonus points. The more *'s, the more bonus points.
- the lines, of course
- each thing separate to color, so a color thing for each
- male and female signs (**)
- Adopt Me (**)
- child lines (*****)
- lantern
- half lantern (****)
- color palette (**)
- different mask expressions (*****)
I'd also like to say that yes, you can change the background if you wish. It doesn't matter, but you don't have to.
