And thanks! Originally they did actually live completely on land and they were more feline, walking on all fours. I decided to experiment by making them more humanoid, and got a few comments saying that they looked aquatic, so I tried to incorporate that. ^^

It's a huge improvement since you are usually into drawing more feline-type creatures. I will surely be adopting one, since I'm in need of more interesting characters. And with Christmas, there are lots of art shops, so I can get lots of art of them. C:
