THIS CONTEST IS......exactly what it says on the tin.
What are Ujkudre? They're a species I doodled up one day in class and decided to bring out into the world. It's super fun, and I've had many good talks with those that adopt them. (Find their topic
here.)
However, I am not perfect. One of my artists is on hiatus, while another switching to part-time, and life currently hit me over the head with a sack of potatoes. I need more artists to help me along. What I am looking for here are two positions: customs artist and normal adoptable artist.
Expectations of an artist:
A good level of activity. I want, at the very least, 1-2 Ujkudre a week.
Ability to lock alpha.
Ability to make backgrounds transparent.
Correct grammar and spelling ability (People will take you more seriously if you do this.)
Knowledge of layers.
Knowledge of Ujkudre color schemes (I don't want you constantly pumping out odd Ujkudre.)
Politeness.
Ability to communicate with me (talk to me! Let me know when things are adopted, ask me what I want to make sure you don't make things too common, etc.)
Expectations of a custom artist:
Same as normal artist, except for...
You can relax on the production front. But you must create customs within a week of them being ordered (barring uncontrollable circumstances in your life preventing you.)
An ability to work from references.

You are limited to two entries.
Be polite to your fellow entrants.
Do not whine about how you are never going to whine, or brag about how proud you are of your piece.
Use realistic colors for your colored in Ujkudre (Well, realistic for the species! Follow the examples of the breed on the thread!)

I will hold separate judging for each artist position (customs and normal). I will choose a first and second place winner out of both of these.
The first prize winners may pick two pets out of my "Contest" group.
Second prize winners may pick two pets as well out of that group.
All entries will be allowed to keep one out of the two possible entries they put in. They shall be added to the official list of Ujkudre, unless you wish to adopt them out.
Contest end date: Once I get enough entries, I shall set the date.
