Just because I forgot to take the dog out My mom:Yelled at me,smashed something very important to me[it was still "repairable"] then smashed it again,then yelled at me again then smashed it.

my dad died when I was ten,hes the one who gave what she smashed to me.

My mom says shes better than my aunt whom throws things for no reason and her [my moms] ex-boy-friend whom yells over little things.truethfully shes just as bad if not worse than both combined.

she's verry lucky I dont behave like her....I would have been kicked out of every school in the county in a matter of days be:Parents are supposed to lead by example,and since shes 'the adult',I should 'follow her example'

If your mother acts like that, don't even think about even following in anything. Her traits that you may copy, will take you down a bad road, a road you don't want to be down. So, no. Do not take this 'adult' as your roal model. Try a teacher, friend's parent, or another adult you know well.

(No, i'm not saying replace your mom. That's wrong. Replace your roal model in your life.)

Poor you....... Good that you're okay. C: Yes, parents are our role models, but don't copy the "bad" things they do. Find the good things. I know how you understand...... Just a bit different.

My mum use to hit me and call me awful names, when I asked her why she did it she said her mum use to do it to her. I told her that that was not a reason but an excuse. I then told her I would never be like her and to this day I have never hit my children or called them awful names. I am afraid of my mum because of what she did but my children love me and respect me because of how I turned out. If it gets to much please tell an adult about it. They will get your mum help and it dosn't mean you will be taken away from her, they can show her how to be a better mum to you. Good luck and I hope it turns out ok.
