Many wars have come, and gone. The weapons of mass destruction became more and more advanced, and no one, not even the animals, could suspect what would become of the Earth.
Studies
Out in the middle of a desert in Nevada, a small group of scientists had been studying the effects of the weapons on Earth. What they claimed to find was ridiculed, as where the scientists themselves. The press, comedy shows, even the governments across the world laughed at them, called the scientists 'Dreamers', 'Apactlypsicts', 'monkeys in coats', and other sarcastic names.
Hope
While all the others gave up, Amelia Roseckle refused to give up. She continued the studies, and she knew, she must find a way to preserve life on Earth.
She came up with her idea easily enough, but the science, it didn't exist, not even then, years from now! How could one ever manage to alter Earthen bred creatures into thhings that could survive Dooms Day?
A Spark
Finally, a break through was made! Amelia successfully managed to combine a fox, and a wolf with genetic splicing. It was beyond words, and it was hope. Just a small, little spark of life, and it could possibly be the answer to saving all life on Earth.
Amelia continued her experiements, she managed to come up with two basic cross-species, A dog, fox, wolf, bird, and a house cat, lion, salamander, bat. The dog hybrid was nicknamed "Doom Hounds", the cat hybrid was called "Hell Feind".
Now It's Your Turn...
Now five lucky citizens of See-ess City (CS) will get the chance to each adopt either a breeding pair of Doom Hounds, or a breeding pair of Hell Feinds. Once the pair grows up, you will be able to select a random DNA bit and add it into your new creatures. The creatures will breed, and their children will show the changes, which will hopefully be for the better.
Your Goal
Your aim is, through selective breeding, to come up with a species that can properly survive through Dooms Day. You will get to name your species, and then the other four user's species will be combined with yours to create the ultimate survivor. And, not only will the creature survive, it will help it's owners survive as well.
