concept art for my new species for Aurion... not sure what the name should be.

as you can see, it's based off of a fox. a few interesting points:

• The 'mist' you see coming from it's mouth is inspired from the northern lights. It uses this to stun it's prey, before attacking.

• It's eyes are actually completely black. the color you see is the skin lining the eyes (normally black on real animals, such as wolves)

• Though you can not see them, parasite flowers grow on the backs of these guys. in exchange for nutrients and water, the flower generates energy through photosynthesis to give additional power to their host. The flowers often glow right after the 'fox' has gone for a swim or drank a lot of water. Also, when they sneeze seeds are blown out their nose, so that more flowers can sprout in the ground.

• Their saliva is much like a dogs, in the sense that it has healing enzymes in it. However, their saliva is much more effective and heals wounds very quickly (1-2 days, or sometimes 6-12 hours if it is not a severe injury)

• They are nocturnal, and eat small mammals, insects, and fish.

• They live in small families, of 6-7 at the most. One litter can have up to 6 kits, but that is highly unusual. The normal amount is 4-5 kits.

Any name ideas? and soon I will be making a few, and breeding them. the kits will be adoptable. I will be looking for partners in crime to help me keep these guys popular and production moving. as well as a website for aurion, and a roleplay forum! if you are interested in any of these pm me :>

You thought this through quite beautifully. The concpet is very intresting with all of the slight changes made to the species that make it different from any other (dog/wolf) species. I hope you go far in their creation!

well you will need people to be mods, I'd start out with two. If it become more popular, hire more.
You can be the only artist, or get a few people to help you whenever you need them, such as when you are over-worked with many orders. You can also use these people to give you ideas.
Not many shops have this, but someone who gets the word out, like putting one in their art, or subliminally mentioning them, post a link here and there.
Sort of an accountant, who makes sure you are on task, know what orders need to be done, just someone who makes like, easier.

I don't know, these seem to be kind of basics. I have never, actually been a part of an adoptables teams, so wouldn't really know everything. Hope ti gave you some ideas though.

she is right, its very good, although being in Sketches and Experiments, i'm guessing you where jsut messing around, figuring things out. Of course, my guessing isnt very good. (i got lots of my guess questions wrong on my last test lol.) buuuuutttt, oh well!

this was meant to be just a sketch but I got a little carried away... ^^; It'd be great if it was moved to intermediate so more people saw it but it doesn't really matter.

Thanks for the suggestions, HPG! Yeah, I would like other colorers as staff, as well as a few mods to tend to stuff such as rule breaking, etc. And an advertiser would be awesome as well.... ;> but I think my fans will take care of that too.

I've looked at all the forums you've created related to this, and they already seem to be popular, before they are even out, I dont think you should have any trouble finding buyers.
