Timer is off. I probably only spent a few hours doing this but I kept leaving the window open.
Info
- Closely resembles a dog, coming in a variety of colours, sizes and ear-types.
- Torso/neck is transparent, highly flexible and is filled with a bright, translucent fluid with darker globules making it resemble a lava lamp. The lava, their eyes and pawpads also glow.
- Very short bristly fur.
- The fluid itself is extremely hot and acts as the dog's blood as it circulates through the limbs and head. The dog does not seem to have any internal organs.
- Whilst their lava is generally brightly (and on rare occasions, multi-) coloured, their fur colours tend to be dull or dark. Although lighter fur colours are not unheard of they tend to be very rare.
- Their body is prone to overheating so to regulate their body heat they'll forcefully eject blasts of pressurised steam several times a day from several small vent-holes on their lower back (where their tail would be) and from their mouth and nose. The smoke goes out when they are asleep. They may also release excess heat from their paw pads, which may leave a trail of burnt-out pawprints.
- Instead of a tail they will leak dark smoke from their vent-holes. When feeling threatened or agitated the dogs will billow out great clouds of super-heated smoke and ash, which can be used for both offensive and defensive purposes. Can also spit out globs of their 'lava' as a means of attack, though only as a last resort.
- Cannot come into contact with water. If it does, body temp. will plummet causing its internal lava to solidify, usually resulting in either death of the dog.
