so i am having a sudden urge to do adoptables, since i can't really draw animals i was thinking something humanoid, but still with animal features since this is a animal based website. this is only a concept sketch, i am sure to go through a few more designs and need a friend or two to help out with ideas, but this is a start u.u
i have a rough idea of what the species would look like and what kind of features i would include with them;
they would be rather small in size like 4ft-5'10ft, the taller the rarer, if they're under 4ft they can also be considered rare. they would have a orb(?) of some sort, the most common place would be on their forehead, the orb would serve as a third eye, other possible places the orb could be is the chest, hands, the back, or their feet, maybe even their belly. they would also have ears, the ears could maybe be long, short, or medium length. i was also thinking that there could be variations of the ears like a ear with a nick in it, or maybe a floppy ear. they would also have a long tail, the long version would be the most common, but there could be mutations like a bobbed tail or a slightly shorter one, or maybe even a extra tail or two. they would have pawfeets as i call them, which are basically just paws on a humanoid creature. the pawfeets would have a gradient effect going on, this means that their skin color would fade into their paw color, their paw color would be the same color as their hair. they would have claws on their hands for hunting. their skin can be any color found in humans, meaning black to white and all shades in between, it would be rare for them to have, let's say, purple skin, but not impossible. they would have three different hair lengths all varying from short as seen above, to medium, to long. it could also be a rare occurrence to see them with 'custom' hair, all of the premade hairstyles will be straight and a bit messy, while customs can be anything. i also want to include different body types so there would be skinny, muscular, and chubby. they can also be any gender you want. i don't think i will let them breed since they do have rather long lifespans, i am not sure though. i also don't think i'll allow adopters to change the haircuts or physical appearance of the species. they do however come with a premade outfit that you can change, once you adopt them you can dress them up in all sorts of nice things. i am also thinking that they come from like a jungle like habitat so they have claws and little fangs for hunting and they will be very energetic, they are basically like cats, only cuter :3 like i already have a vague idea of their nature, habitat, and design.
those are literally all just ideas though, i am still unsure about if i even want to do the entire species thing since it's a lot of work and i don't know many people who would be able to help out with coloring new adopts and modding the thread. like before since they're humanoid i don't even think they'll get popular so this is really just a concept for me. if you guys could leave a vote that would be great and it would let me know that you're all on board for the idea, or you could leave a comment and tell me what you think or give me a few ideas.
