Okay I'm no expert but I can hopefully pass a little of my knowledge on.

Alright, first thing is first. Think of the wing as an arm.. With feather protruding from it.
Also, note that there are different kind of feathers. There are short and squat ones, and there are longer pointer ones. Shorter ones be tend to grow at the base of the arms, whereas the longer ones stretch a bit farther than the shorter ones.

Also keep in mind that feathers can layer each other. I recommend looking at pictures of wings and try to see how your drawings differ from them

Last thing, Anime/angel wings are basically a fantasy approach to bird wings. They are a bit more stylized, and often show the outer feathers more elongated then what is natural.
