Draco-Lykourgos
History/Origins/Facts
Draco-Lykourgos' or Lykours are a dragon wolf cross species. They have walked the earth for millions of years. They have survived from beyond the era of dinars. They have been here since earth was formed. Lykours are creatures who do not often let themselves be see by humans. They are the ones who often clean up after the destruction humans cause. Lykours have the ability to both cure and inflict disease upon the world. They can purify pollution and poisons and more often than not they cleanse the earth.
Draco-Lykourgos are originally from a distant planet at the edge of another universe. When this universe formed many decided to dwell within in to cleanse and maintain it just as they had their own.
Lykours are not all good and peaceful creatures. There are many who set poison and decease into place. Like with most other creatures there is good and evil in all. They all choose to follow their own road believing that it is the right path even if others do not agree.
Draco-Lykourgos come in many different colors and patters It is very rare for a Lykours to have a solid colored pelt. Their scales can very in color though they are often darker than the pelt. Their horns are usually the same color as the scales though not always.
Appearance/Abilities
Draco-Lykourgos' have a wolf like body with the underbelly scales of a dragon and guard scaled across their muzzle. Some have a dragon's horns and some do not. They all have twin tails, the tail tips are usually blade sharp. An uncommon trait is if they have a set of dragon wings. It is seen less often seen in the Lykours' in this universe but it is still a trait that can appear. A more rare trait is for a Lykours to control an element.
All Lykours' have some sort of psychic ability, (Telepathic, Telekinetic, Past sight, future sight, higher knowing, etc)
Lykours are also great healers.
Eggs
Lykours are born as eggs. Though eggs may very in size the normal size is about the size of a Baseball. They stay as eggs for about a year before they hatch, so that they are fully developed.
Hatchlings
Once hatched a Lykours is roughly the size of a large Chihuahua . They will not yet have their horns, if they are going to have them. Instead they will simply have small nubs where the horns will grow as they do.
Youngsters
After their first year Lykours are no longer considered hatchlings and are referred to as Youngsters, By now they are about the size of a dog such as an Alaskan Klee Kai to a Akita. Their horns are starting to develop and their personalities are making themselves known.
Adults
Lykours are adults and are responsible for their own actions and mistakes. Their horns are fully grown and they are between the sizes of a Tibetan Mastiff to a riding size horse. Though some may be larger or smaller. Any abilities have already made themselves known.
