What are Forest Elken?
Forest Elken are very secretive vixen elk crosses that live in the deepest crevices of the woods in Northern Asia. They tend to avoid humans, but if caught they become very attached and stay with the human until they are discarded, or the guardian dies. They cannot be held in captivity because they will die. They normally travel alone, and not in packs. In mating season, however, they get together in pairs and then have kits, and then depart from eachother after two or three weeks after the kits are born. Their common color-scheme is natural colors, but there are rare Elken that are unnatural colors.

To adopt a FE, you simply click on a design that stands out to you, and there are certain requirements that each designer will host that contest with. If you meet the requirement the best in the eyes of the host, you will win the FE.

For the Artists:
-If you have an FE waiting to be adopted, please do not post another one until it is. This will just keep things organized.
-You may make yourself two for your own.
-Please do not make too many bright designs. Bright designs are rare, and if there are too many rare Elken, well, then they wouldn't be rare anymore, would they? cx
-For an approximation for how rare rare Elken are, there is about 1 rare FE for every 15 common FE.
-There are 1-2 kits in a litter
