Hi!
So, this is a rough sketch of a new species I want to get going called Tapet Dogs, or simply Tapets.
FAQ- Tapet Dogs are a rare breed of canine that resides only in the boreal and cinifrous forest s of Europe and Asia. They are extrememly shy animals that do not enjoy being approached. Their diet consnists of nuts, berries, and flowers. Each Tapet represents and element, (the Tapet pictured above is air). Females reproduce only once per year, giving birth to one pup, causing their population to be unbelievably small, even though they live for thousands of years. Male Tapets have a back mane (pictured, females lack this), fuller chest manes, and slightly shorter tails.
The tail fur is very feathery, close to that of a peacock feather, or one of those fake feathers available at a craft store (the fluffy kind c;)
The mane contains something representing the Tapets element; ex. Earth has small flowers and leaves.
Air, Earth, Fire, and Water Tapets are known to exist at this time.
Air Tapets are generally light colors; light blues, grays, whites, purples, very rarely b=lack or deep purple/gray.
Fire Tapets are warm colors; rust, red, orange, yellow.
Water Tapets are all shades of blue, some aqua and seafoam greens.
Earth Tapets are all shades of brown, rich greens, some light pinks, blues, purples, and tans. Natural colors.
Each element is also represented by a symbol being exhaled from the Tapet's rounded muzzle. (Air symbol pictured)
So, I need your help! If you like this species, I'll need someone (a pretty good artist, I'll want an example c:) to do the actual lines and shading for me.
