"Be ready to jump!" Ivy growled in Honeys ear. They were galloping very quick towards the crossbar jump. Honey was a bay mare. Her ear twitched and she galloped faster. "Atta girl!" Ivy yelled. Honey went straight for the jump, but then she noticed she was going too fast. She was going to trip. She soared over the jump. Ivy knew what was coming. Honey paused in mid air, daring not to move. Ivy felt a tear drip down her cheek. Honey fell over the jump and knocked it down. There were sharp edged on the crossbars. They scraped Honey and Ivy all over. The crossbars sailed away and the posts knocked over. Honey slipped and skidded on her chest. Her neck slipped and her head got dragged under her neck as she slipped. She stopped skidding and her knee cracked. She broke her leg. She went dizzy. She looked up at Ivy. She looked down and closed her eyes.
