I didn't really plan to draw three pictures for my application cause I thought I would not be able to finish all three in time. Before I drew this I had finished one and a half pics (working on the traditinal one still) but then this morning I had this idea, and I just had to try it. I thought "With that pretty facial marking, how amazing would Patch look in the dark?!" and this afternoon I just -had to- try it out. I have always had a soft spot for this kind of pictures. :3
I thought it won't take too long since it's just black and white but hell it was a lot of work, much more work than I expected.
But I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out, now I just gotta really hurry and finish the traditional one.
I was listening this amazing cover of "Rolling in the deep". I LOVE this version so much, god. I already had the song in my head this morning when I thought of the concept, and I just had to listen to it whilst drawing it. Until I looked up the lyrics of it I always thought he'd sing "feaver patch", and not "pitch", irony huh?
The timer is about correct I think, maybe off by 15-30 minutes or so which is really good for me since I always multitask. ^^
And last but not least, I LOVE HORSE WHISKERS weroughwitluwitlughtwh. o__o xD
