Okay, I'm trying to get loving homes for some of my older characters, and here is one.

His name is Resin and he is a male, but I will allow name and gender changes. c: He is a Shiba Inu dog though.
I also slightly revamped him, but here is art from his old form.

Well, she is just gorgeous! I love her to bits, and when I first saw her I spazzedddddd so much X3 I love how all of her colours mix so well, and her pattern is very unique. Her eye colour matches quite well withe her base and marking colours, and her necklace suits her very very much, too!

I would love to give Resin a good, forever home, I clicked this thread by accident, I was about to click the back arrow, when I saw him.. I looked down and realised he was for adoption. Resin is a very cute indidvidual, you can see it by just looking at him, I would love to adopt him and shower him with love. The design is very distinctive and sophisticated although you can't see it much. He just strikes a chord in me, and how can I put my love of him into words? He is like a magnet to me, I am very picky, on characters, before I buy or adopt I always ask myself many questions, but here in this situation, its very much different. I just looked at him for a split second and said yes, no questions at all asked. Resin really stole my heart, its hard to put into words, how wonderful he is. I'm glad I clicked this by accident, because
If I didn't, I wouldn't have noticed him,
If I didn't ever notice him, I wouldn't desire him,
If I didn't desire him, I wouldn't love him,
But I did, I do, and I will.
What you will do with him:
Art, art and art. Did I mention art? Wherever there is a role play that fits, I will use him as a character, I will gladly put him into my stories. Wait did I say put him into stories? Oh no, no, no, I will write stories about him, definitely. I will obviously put him on my character thread and overall I will shower him with love. I will take any opportunities where I can use him, and I would be the best owner I can.

Forget him? Forget Resin? Never! He will never ever be forgotten, he will be loved and cared for as long as he is with me. I will use him, always, I will do all the above that I have said and I will soak him with my love.

Name: I'd keep the name Resin, I just think it fits <3 BUT, I would give him a nickname (I'm thinking Shebop c:) and a full name, which I have not come up with yet. 8D

Gender: Male, it wouldn't be the same if he were female.

Motivation for adopting: I was scrolling the Oekaki and this caught my eye, and when I realized he was for adoption I derped all over. His design fits him so well, and really gives him personality. I couldn't imagine him looking any different. He's a character that obviously has meaning. Everything fits. His design, eyes, and necklace are just right. I love the fact that he's a shiba inu, because I for one am in love with them. I'm sick of wolves and need something new, and he's everything I was looking for.

What you will do it him/her: I'll order too much art of him and put him everywhere, and give him lots of love. I'd have so much fun making up a million stories for him and putting them in a thread to make everyone jealous. He'd probably end up as my new fursona right away.

Motivation for adopting;; My motivation, he is gorgeous to put it simply. Like the previous entrant I clicked this accidentally becuase of my spazzy tablet. I was about to go onto another thread when I noted he was for adoption. I don't often fall in love with a design, but I am speechless with his beauty. His eyes, his coat, everything. I have been meaning to find a Shiba Inu character but the muse for design always seems to escape me and it's so hard to fidn one you click just right with. Resin is just heart stoppingly breath takingly beutiful. I just imagine all the art I could make with him, his own space in a character thread stories everything just comes easily from just looking at him. He has just stolen my heart <3 I couldn't skip the opportunity to give such a gorgeous boy a great forever home with me and my lot.

What you will do it him;; Make him art, and practice my canine anatomy with him, order him art from those fancy 'high end' art shops, right him stories and make him part of my little character family. I would make him his own little nook in my character thread. Maybe role play him with friends and make sure he has plenty of friends so he never gets lonely. Basically use him where ever applicable. Maybe even 'buy' (design) him

How could one ever forget such a handsome dog? I would love him almost as much as my real life pets. I promise on all my rares and very rares and store pets I have. Name: Phoenix - No, not after the capital of Arizona, but after the constellation.

I'm not entirely sure why, but when I saw him I began to think of astronomy. But since I lack knowledge in that department, I decide to Google names of constellations. Well, I came across many; Orion, Leo, Ursa... But none fit. And just as I was about to give up, I came across Phoenix. It was simple, but incredible in many aspects. His fiery coat, valiant personality... I knew that I needed him.

Gender: I will be keeping Phoenix a male. As gorgeous as he would look as a little girl, I decided that he will not be one, because I can truly not find a female in his design.

Motivation for adopting: After working on the Pommie Match Making Thread, I couldn't help but to click on your gallery. And when I did, well, I was overwhelmed. It was fantastic. But my eyes somehow drifted to the sweet little dog at the bottom of the page. His gorgeous coat color and intricate little marking seemed to manipulate my hand into clicking on him. So I did. But when I saw that he was for adoption, I realized that I needed him. He was utterly perfect. The soft stripes mixed in with the hickory-colored bases were just, ajhgihnrtgu. Resin (Phoenix) is just flawless. And the form, well, it's so simple. But he struck me- hard. And so I hope that it is alright for me to add these extras- if not, I can take them off.

What you will do it him/her: If you allow me to, I will make Phoenix my fursona. I don't have one at the moment, as I'm a terrible designer, but I will draw him as well as possible. And a lot. I'm not sure if I can draw Aviator (my Pommie) with him or not, but if I can they will be friends. Either way, I will draw him everywhere; class, Oekaki, DeviantArt.... Anywhere possible. But I mean, how could I not? And I will also write a much better story of him and create him a believable history.

Do you promise to take good care of him/her and not forget it? That's almost offensive. Of course I will! I promise to give him utmost love and affection, as he deserves nothing less. He will become as loved as any character, dog or otherwise, has ever been. Heck, he's already pretty close and I haven't even gotten him yet! All I'm saying is, he will have a wonderful forever home- spoiling included.

Personality: This is Phoenix. He's playful and lovable; just like any other dog. But that's only what you see. Because what's inside is the stuff that counts, right? Well, prepare to indulge in the in-depth look at this little Shiba Inu.

At a glance, Phoenix is rambunctious and tireless. He has boundless energy and a large heart to place everyone in. He isn't forgetful in the slightest, and wouldn't trade your friendship for the world. Many call him trusting, as he will quickly develop an everlasting bond. Others call him creative, since he is inventive and loves to use his imagination. But only one person can see the true Phoenix; and that's himself.

According to him, he is reserved. Quiet. A mask. Phoenix, as real as it may seem, is just a sweet hallucination. He has only let one thing into his heart, and that's Acorn... A female. His best friend, now dead. And it was an accident- he would never mean to kill her. But it was the moment, and the circumstance that made him do it. That made him snap. Funny thing is, he didn't even snap at her. No, it was a possum. A lousy rodent that had no business being there. But since the accident, Phoenix has never been the same. To himself, that is. He constantly puts up a charade so that he doesn't burden others around him. No one needed to know how mentally defused he was, or that he often cried himself to sleep. All that they needed to know was that he was okay, just fine. But it's all about perspective, I suppose.

Accidents Happen - Story: At times, things can change so suddenly you don't have time to blink, or even breathe. At times, it seems like years tick by as mere seconds. At times, you seem to lose the dose of reality so instantly you remember it like it was yesterday... But not in the case of Phoenix.

The storm had been long and drawn out, quaking the roots on the ravine. But still, two young Shiba Inus raced happily, crisp raindrops falling from their resistant-fur to the ground. And as they laughed, the whole forest seemed to perk up. The trees lost their ominous gloom, the grass stood a little taller. One tree, a large Oak, however, still drooped. Acorn and Phoenix, best friends since beyond their recollection, did not notice that particular tree.

But taking a glance at it, their was a rather fat possum perched on one of the branches, glaring sternly at the puppies. What were they doing in the rain, laughing and playing? They deserved to be taught a lesson, and no one was going to teach them... So he may as well ought to do it. Sherman waddled unsteadily toward the end of the branch before curling his tail around it and dropping. This upside-down state was normal or him, and he waited patiently for the two to come by. And, as they darted underneath him, his paw lashed out at the female, cutting her sharply. She stopped, looked up, and shrieked.

"Acorn, what is it?" Phoenix asked in an almost hushed voice, soft but urgent.

"It- it hurts," she whispered as a trickle of blood ran down the side of her head. The storm's volume increased and it now sounded loudly in the ears of the unhappy trio. In dismay, Phoenix looked up and saw the possum.

"What did you do that for?!" He shouted, baring his teeth. Anger coursed through him, tensing his body.

"You two shouldn't have been runnin' in the storm, imbeciles!"

"You shouldn't mess with a dog!"

"And why not?"

"Because... Because, Argh!" Phoenix griped, before springing to his feet and knocking the rodent down with a swipe of his paw.

Suddenly, lightning flashed and hit the tree. It happened so quickly, but to the eyes of Phoenix is was so slow; moving in frames, it seemed. And then it hit her.

Acorn fell, collapsed, as the branch struck her. The snap of her spine was definite, as the puddle that she lay in. In solemn salute, Phoenix just simply walked away. He was frightened- unsure. But before he left, he bent down and took an acorn that had been tossed from the Oak.

He crafted it into a necklace, and wears it every day in honor of Acorn.

Likes: -Raspberries Eating wild raspberries has become a guilty pleasure of Phoenix since Acorn died.
-Dog Tags Not necessarily the look of them, but the soft clinking noise that they make when you move. Phoenix finds the chime comforting.
-Ravines This was the last happy place that he and Acorn were before the accident.

Dislikes: -Storms As if it weren't obvious, Phoenix hates storms because they are the reason that Acorn was killed. If it weren't for the tree.....
-Possums Once again, I find this pretty self-explanatory. Sherman scratched Acorn, which led to her standing directly in the tree's ravenous path.
