To Try Against the Sands of Time

Standing here once again,
I remember where I had left my footprints then,
But all is smooth and all is clear,
like watching fade all progress and grow the fear,
Time and time again I am still looking to mark the changing pace,
Doing as much as I can before the ending day, like a condesending race,
But to come back the next morning only to restart the day,
Again and Again, no matter what you do or say.
A metephorical and literal drawing, neat. It was my first time drawing sand so forgive it's lack of prettiness. I would love some critique on this drawing if anyone could spare some.
As for the character, that is Zentoha, my new bender character. Sorry about the hair quality... I have trouble with black hair in terms of small drawings. Timer is accurate.
