I wanted to get my knowledge on textures, eh, this fails that is why I put it on sketches and expiraments. This is more of an expiriment.

If you have trouble doing the texture on hair, if it's long enough, you can use either yours or someone else's (someone willing, of course) to experiment with. when I do both hair and fur, even feathers sometimes, I like to think of them all as little or long lines that go in different directions.

One such method is the "Flick" method where you start dark and 'flick' lighter towards the shine of the hair.
My preferred method is an easy shading technique and can be seen in my gallery, it also follows the 'flick' but when done correctly, it leaves a very nice and very realistic effect
