Oh ok! So a do can have 2 or 3 sets of ears, but 3 ears r te rarest? Sorry I read this somewhere and I can't remember so I'm going by memory

So, basically in the wild the only have two ears. However, there was a group of scientists who found a colony of them and were doing testing on them, and genetically changed a few of them to have three sets of ears. Eventually, the three-eared Dox escaped into the wild and started to breed. Three-eared ones are also better in flight. c:

One-eared (well, one pair of ears) Doxes are not quite as rare as the 3-eared ones, but are still pretty uncommon. They're a natural genetic mutation, and are often not as smart and are sillier than the other doxes. They aren't the best at flying, and have trouble surviving in the wild. Almost all one-eared Doxes are either domestic pets or bonded.

If you want one though, you'll have to go in and erase some of the ears on either the 2- or 3- eared ones, if you use this lineart.
