Glassed-Over Eyes

Postby geinkotsu » Wed Apr 04, 2012 10:50 am

"In-between the heart of lies,
I now am looking into those eyes.
I can see in the shadows gleaming,
Those eyes that province ache in dreaming.
His hair that flows like silk is gold,
His skin is but dead and cold.

He looks at me with glassed-over eyes.
Something tells me that what he try,
Is to steal my soul and drain me dry.
I give him my heart to hear his graceful lie,
The moment of truths and I will then die."

Yeah I dunno, Gabriel, my character, has been all over my brain. He looks handsome in glasses, maybe tie back his hair~ Omnomnomnom. But yeah, wrote this weird poem and decided to draw something to fit in with it. Enjoy? idk.

I adore the minimalist coloring style used here; the red lineart was a great decision.
I had nine lives,
but I lost all of them

and I wasted time when I looked for them

for now I know things lost are never to be found again

I love working with limited color schemes, usually with stuff like this I use coupling colors- red/orange, blue/purple, green/yellow, etc.

Haha, thankyou, although I do not think it is that amazing, it's just a sketch. ^//w//^
