Personality:
Vanilla is very out going and friendly. She will happily snuggle up on any ones lap and loves to be scratched under the chin. She will sometimes shy away from others if they make her feel in danger or threatened in any way. She sometimes bumps into glass doors because she is daydreaming and not watching where she is going. She isn't as playful as some cats but will occasionally enjoy a quick game here and there. Mostly at the most inconvenient times. She usually just goes with the flow but will become determined to do somethign if someone says she can't do it.
Likes:
Smoked salmon, sunshine, hunting cicadas, having a nap, having her chin scratched, making some one smile, food, her friends and her family.
Hates:
Thunder storms, fleas, cola, doing heavy work, killing birds, laser pointers, wasps, when her daughter is being grumpy.
Dreams:
That she will one day find the right guy and settle down as mates together and have a family. Also that her daughter will grow up in better times than she did.
Fears:
The vacuum, thunder and lightening and that her daughter will disappear for ever.
History wrote:Family:
A daughter named Emily.
History:
Vanilla was born into a time of poverty and death. Her parents were but simple farm cats, used to keep mice out of what small grain had been harvested. The harsh, bitter winter rolled around once more and the town slowly began to starve.
Even the mice left to find some where else to live because there was so little food. The family did what they could to keep the cats alive but the best they could do was feed them scraps from the dinner table, barely enough to keep the small family of cats alive.
When spring came back, Vanilla was healthy and strong unlike her parents who had sacrificed their food to make sure she had enough.
"Little Sundae?" Her father called to her one day.
"Yes papa?" She asked in her innocent little voice, making it all the harder for her parents.
"You are a big girl now. Next winter, we are scared their will not be enough food to keep you going. Your mother and I think it would be best if you found a new home of your own where you will be safe." Her father said, her parents eyes were gleaming with tears.
"But.... okay papa." Gloomily, Vanilla turned to get her things.
The next morning Vanilla was wearing her scarf over her purple collar, and ready to leave.
"Wait baby. I want to give you this." Her mother tied a string around her tail. It has a little blue star and a pink feather on it that glowed faintly.
"Thanks mama. I'll miss you." With that, Vanilla jumped into the farmers truck as they drove for hours.
When the truck finally stopped, Vanilla climbed out. There where houses all around her.
She walked for days trying to find some where to live.
She sat in a bush and stayed there.
The next morning, Vanilla saw a person coming so she jumped out.
"Hey there kitty." The person said as they picked her up.
Then she found her new home with some other cats in a beautiful house.
She later found some one, and had a daughter but he left after Emily's birth.
