1. If you claim a fiction character that claim is to be respected within that group of friends, and may not always be valid outside that group.
2.When you claim that claim is ONLY MADE OFFICIAL after several posts or refrences to that claim or drawn pictures of that character.
please note that when you DO claim people will try to use that character against you.
2.a. If not drawn then an alternative is usually a siggy dedication/ " shrine"
3. Seriously, RESPECT OTHER'S CLAIMS WITHIN THAT FRIEND GROUP.
4. You can comment and compliment another fictional( or nonficional) character's look, personality, ect like " _____ dang, Haku is smexy" and that won'y always count as a claim.
5. A claim is valid if you or an OC is paired with the char, not someone else or their OC unless they specify towards you to say so.

Usually the claim within the friend group is given to whoever has evidence showing they claimed the char before the other person.
