Welcome to the WFA
Would you like to adopt one of these stunning, unique "foxes"? Truthfully -- they aren't foxes at all, but are commonly called them. They have a similar DNA, but are not foxes. They have the canine build and are indeed canines, yet some have the most unnatural coat colors.
They can range from realistic to fantasy. Some are common fox colored, but others aren't. Some could be colored as cheetahs or zebras, and some could be unnatural and unique and are more than you can ever imagine.
However, these unique canines do best in captivity, and rarely survive in the wild. They are relatively small, some big males can be a whopping 15 pounds, however. Most males are about 7-10 pounds, and females, 5-8. You thought these were babies? Nope, they are adult foxes.
Many of our foxes have been injured and some have limited abilities. Please treat them as kindly as you can, as many of these canines tend to be very emotionally sensitive.
Once all foxes have been adopted, there will be a new link up to another adoptable post. This is our first adoptable set.
Adopting
We highly would appreciate it if you adopt one of these foxes! To start you off, you are given a 10 pound bag of our high quality recipe designed especially for these animals, as well as a food bowl.

Of course, don't forget the water!

There are currently four foxes up for adoption. Others are being treated and are not yet ready for adoption. Sorry -- we only adopt out adults. Baby foxes are hard to take care of and without being with their mother, and if we adopted them out, it may traumatize the fox.
Please only adopt ONE fox per set. You are allowed to adopt from future sets, but only one per set. Thank you!

Fox number one
Silverado - ADOPTED! by Silverlilly
Male
Young Adult
Silverado is a rather hyper and playful fox. He'd just love to crawl all over you, up your legs, back, everywhere! You better be prepared for this ball of great energy to enter your life! He needs constant attention and he'd be great with other pets with a similar, playful and bubbly personality. He is best with other foxes, so if you plan on adopting again, that would be great! If you do not have a ton of free time, it is highly recommended you have or will get another fox soon, but please make sure you have enough time to take care of them both. Silverado can easily make friends with others.
Fox Number Two
Jake - ADOPTED! by firewerewolf
Male
Adult
Jake is prettyyy laid back. He just loves attention though, and tends to be very protective. He is kind of that "I can survive without companionship but I prefer it" type, and you'll probably find him climbing high everywhere, as he loves having a birds eye view rather than having humans tower over him like a sky scraper. Oh.... did I mention one major flaw? We found old Jake on the side of the road. His fur was ruffled up like road kill. Barely alive, we found his right back leg crushed. We had to amputate it, so now the poor guy only has three legs, but gets along quite fine, actually.
Fox Number Three
Starlight - ADOPTED! - By Unikels
Female
Young adult
Starlight is the most mysterious of all the foxes we've ever handled. She is basically a ragdoll, as if always dazed and daydreaming. She is in perfect health, with leaves us confused beyond belief. You can do anything with her, but she doesn't do a lot. She'll sleep a lot, and often acts as if she is dreaming. Honestly, we held her back from adoption quite a while. Did blood tests of all sorts, made sure she had no deceases. She's fine, and would be a wonderful pet for those who want one but don't have the maximum amount of time for a fox like, for example, Silverado.
Fox Number Four
Night - ADOPTED! - By Cookiewerewolf
Female
Older adult, near elder
Night is a peaceful old gal. She's been with us for a year or two, and we would love her to have a home in her last few years. Her star on her side is quite captivating, and sometimes we swear it seems to glow in the night. This little animal seems to be much more nocturnal than the others, sleeping in the day and coming out to play in the night. Everyone absolutely loves her, and we think she'll be adopted quite soon along with Starlight. She loves to play with humans, and is not very good with other species or other foxes.
