Cometpaw saw Spiritflight's outline grow fuzzy. She was leaving, so he turned away. But he stopped. He saw a cat approaching. But it wasn't like any cat he'd ever seen before. It had fur that glittered like diamonds, and strange markings. It drew closer, but it hadn't seen him. Cometpaw now saw that the markings weren't markings.
They were bones.
The outlines of bones, clearly seen through pale, translucent skin. Cometpaw recoiled. The cat also had dark rings around each eye. Closer still. Cometpaw then saw it was apprentice/young warrior age, like himself, and it was male. Cometpaw took a deep breath, then leaped into the open. "Hello," he said catiously. "Who are you?"

The cat hissed, and crouched down on spindly, thin legs, lashing his whiplike, skinny tail. "Who a-a-are y-you?" he said, menacing despite the stutter. His dark-ringed eyes made him look all the more sinister, as did the bones.
