One summer night, when Nightstone was only 8 moons old, Darkscar was helping her with her battle moves. He had gotten mad at her for a misplacement of her paw in a rep, and he swiped his paw across her left side. He had cut her badly and she had to be rushed to the camp to be tended to by the Medicine Cat. He walked out of camp later that night and never returned.....
