Well, my clan. Most got names while being coloured, and the clan has strict rules on colour, merely for the safety of the clan (a black cat can't hunt well in the desert because it is soo obvious) Th hunting method they use is sit and wait (the importance of colour). They stike when prey unknowingly passes.

woah, this is really cool! i love the whole desert idea, its really creative! but what if one of the kits are born a different color? what do they do with them?

It's very rare for the kits to be born another colour, but if they are, they will be raised until apprentice ship and tested. If they can hunt decently, they are allowed to stay. If not, they will normally be outcast, and if they survive to adult hood, they will be accepted back into the clan. However, this is rare as the two cats that started the clan were golden colored. Also, they only accept golden colored cats from outside into their clan.
