Name:
Kodak

Age:
4 years of age

Gender:
Male

Rank:
Alpha

Description:
Kodak is a quite large and very muscular wolf. Kodak is slightly taller than the average grey wolf, so he has to look down to talk to most.... Kodak is tall for a grey wolf, bringing himself to stand as tall as the average mained wolf at around 43" making him look down to talk to most. Usually his rather large size intimidates other wolves from the start. His size contributes to his muscular build. His large narrow muzzle is tipped with a jet black nose that screams I am Alpha. He has long muscular legs and large furry paws, perfect for changing mountain temperature and weather. A long thickly furred tail reaches down to his paws, barely missing the ground. Under uncurled lips, his sharp white canines are almost 2 inches long, and when barred, can make any warrior slink back into the shadows. His fur is mostly a very dark grey at the top and fades into a cream like color underbelly. Kodak’s fur is rather thick and fluffy, which in turn, makes him look even larger. Kodak’s fur is quite soft for a wolf; it feels similar to a duck’s outer feathers Kodak is covered in scars from his past and many fights he has been in because of his fiery temper. One scar that stands out the most is a large bite mark on Kodak’s neck he got from the fight with his brother. Kodak has large hard eyes that are a greenish grey in color. Like his pelt, his eyes fade from one color to the next His piercing green-grey eyes are fierce enough to send chills down any wolf's spine. All in all Kodak is a quite handsome wolf to most.

Personality:
Kodak is usually not the friendliest wolf you could meet. He is kind of like bitter-sweet chocolate. At some points he is bitter to all, while other times he is actually quite caring. He has this horribly short and fiery temper that always gets him into many fights with what he calls “unworthy opponents.” He likes to be alone but he will talk to others because he is the alpha. Kodak hardly ever grins, but he has this evil looking smirk he always uses if you somehow get him out of his ever present bad mood. Because he is male he loves the company of she-wolves and if left alone with one may turn into a semi-sweet flirt. To Kodak’s pack he will defend them at all costs, even if that means ending his life.

History:
Kodak was born two a pair of loners who tried to start a pack. Sadly there plan did not work out because his father left for another female while his mother was pregnant with him and his litter mates at the time. Kodak’s mother who he never knew the name of was a beautiful wolf. Her pure black pelt was as dark as a new moon sky. Her eyes were like mossy orbs formed into beautiful and stunning eyes. Sadly when Kodak’s litter was born some of his pack mates were ill with a common contagious disease unknown to the human mind witch affected the pup’s nerves in its brain. Kodak’s dear mother knew this however and was forced to leave those few deformed pups for dead to keep the others alive. Sickness, deformities of the brain or heart, and coldness of the early spring took all the rest of Kodak’s littermates and he was left with hi poor mother. Kodak’s mother knew that a loner life would form a very cruel and hard wolf, so although it broke her heart, she had to find a new life for her only surviving pup. She picked up Kodak by the scruff of his dark grey coat and brought Kodak to the edge of a well-known wolf pack’s territory.
Kodak’s mother grew up with the alpha female and kept in touch with her. She had known that the alphess lost all but one of her pups just like she had. So that night she met her in the woods. The alphess was named Mira and she was a kind and loving soul. She had the markings of a regular grey wolf and unusually vivid green eyes that sparkled in the light. When Kodak’s mother met Mira in the woods she fell in love with Kodak the second she met him. From such a young age Mira knew he would be a fighter, one who would never give up and fight the fight until it was impossible to go on. Kodak’s mother asked Mira to take her pup because she feared she would lose him if she kept the small pup with her as a loner. Mira understood her dilemma and accepted the small pup. Mira told his mother that she would ask her husband and she would come back later with the answer if she could keep him. Kodak’s mother knew from that point on that her son would survive even if all odds were ageist Kodak.
When Mira first asked her husband, Dimascus, If she could keep the pup he said no. he explained that the pack may revolt and attack her and her adopted pup. But Mira was not discouraged by this, she explained that Kodak was a fighter and his aura screamed survivor. The wolf pack was surrounded by psy-powers and spirits of the forest, so Dimascus had to accept the poor pup. Mira was overjoyed by this and rushed back to where she was going to meet Kodak’s mother. When she got there she found the two sleeping and quickly woke his mother and told her the wonderful news. She smiled and picked up her handsome sleeping pup. “Take care now and give him this.” She said as she gave Mira a necklace consisting of twine and a few hawk and raven feathers attached into the string. She took one last look at Kodak and slinked back into the shadows. That was the last Mira ever knew of her.
Mira’s only pup Skylar, a brownish wolf with sly brown eyes, was a week older than Kodak but Kodak was always the stronger one. The whole time they were together they always fought to be on top; usually Kodak was the one on top. As Kodak matured, he became much more muscular, more agile, and quite a bit wittier by the day. Skylar on the other hand, was always quieter and weaker than his adopted brother. Because of Kodak’s personality and great strength, Kodak was supposed to become the Alpha wolf after his father resigned the important position. But right before the ceremony, Skylar challenged his brother for he hated Kodak to the bitter end. The wolf pack didn’t really like Skylar for he was arrogant, ruthless and always picked on the lower ranks. He was one who would kill any pups that were in his on sight. Quickly the fight escalated into something no one ever thought, after the endless snarling, biting, growling, and clawing the fight came to a surprising end. Somehow Skylar won the gruesome fight! Even his father was surprised by this turn of events. Skylar, being cold hearted and evil from always being the under wolf, kicked Kodak out of the pack minute he got his rank without remorse for the battered and bloodied wolf.
Kodak never forgave himself for his loss and attempted to commit suicide. He limped to the waterfall were he frequently looked over wanting to know how it felt to jump off the tall and dangerous cliff. Just before he jumped he saw a shadow. But it wasn’t a shadow, it was an aged Black wolf, her coat was as dark as a no moon sky, her eyes the color of two mossy stones. She walked up to Kodak and put a string of twine with a cluster of brown and black feathers on it. She never said a word but Kodak instantly relised what would happen if he jumped and he stopped what he was doing. He revised what he was about to do. Then it came to him, instead of being an omega in the situation and beating himself up, he had to become the alpha and take charge of all situations. He tried to find the black wolf to thank her but he never found her, all he found was a tuft of black fur were she was standing.
