The cats are Rosefire(Black) and Patchheart(Calico).
Rosefire has gone through loss after loss, her mother, her father(faked death), her brother(faked death then real death then reincarnation), her sister(death, then reincarnation), her crush (disappearance), Patchheart(death, necromanced back to life), her daughter(death, then reincarnation), and... Well... that's it.. For now.
