The pup, with a dark-coloured coat, leaped, batting the air with her paws. She landed on the grass with a soft thud. She grinned, finding the action fun.

Watching her litter-mates having fun from a distance playing tag, Nephyll scrambled to her paws, determined to make the best of her limited free time, wanted to try leaping into the air again. Her fur stood up and was messy, making her look like a porcupine, due the her rolling and playing around on the grass. The grass, however, was the opposite of her, as it was flattened.

Today was a special day for Nephyll and her litter-mates. Her parents, had brought them out to a wide stretch of grassland close to the edge of Nephyll's forest home, as a treat. They rarely had a chance to play so freely, as their parents were strict and never let them play or fool around much. Nephyll had been excited the moment her parents had announced that they were bringing them out to a grassland as a treat.

Although being in the grassland wasn't such a big thing to fuss about, Nephyll liked being outside and playing with her litter-mates instead of lazing around in the boring den of her home. Going outside with no duty or job to do was not usually tolerated by her parents, as they liked Nephyll and her litter-mates present and orderly, neat, whenever or wherever they went.

Nephyll, burst into peals of laughter when she landed on the ground again. It was funny when she landed on the ground, for some odd reason which she couldn't explain. In mid-laugh, Nephyll heard a soft, urgent chitter.

Nephyll immediately tensed, wary. Her head shot up and she was about to bolt, when a red, slightly furry head poked out of a bush close to where Nephyll was. A squirrel.

Nephyll was curious to why a squirrel would lurk so far from the forest, as most of the squirrels living in the forest usually stayed close to the tall pine trees and rarely ever wandered so far from its home territory.

The squirrel cocked its head, suspicious of Nephyll. It sniffed her, and recoiled, obviously it did not trust her. Its head darted about, as if looking for a sign of any other creatures, before hesitantly stepping out of the bushes. It chittered again, and although Nephyll couldn't understand it, its body language made it clear that it was agitated. It turned around, its nose pointing toward the forest. Nephyll didn't understand why it did that.

The squirrel scuttled a few steps forward, and looked back. It seemed annoyed that she was still standing there, and scuttled back toward Nephyll. It prodded her leg with its nose, and pointed its nose insistently toward the forest. Maybe it wants me to follow it? Nephyll thought, as she padded after the sleek and agile creature.

The squirrel, after scuttling along for a while, stopped underneath a tall pine tree. It stuck its nose forward, pointing toward the side of the wide tree. Nephyll wondered what was in that direction of the pine. She didn't really want to know, but her curiosity got the better of her.

She had padded a few steps forward before turning around. She looked back at the squirrel, who was climbing a short length of a young willow tree nearby. It noticed that Nephyll was not moving, so it scuttled back down, lithely landing on the leaf-littered forest floor, without making much sound. It bounded over and prodded Nephyll with its nose. "Hey! Fine. I'll go, I'll go. No need to be rude," Nephyll huffed, poofing out her cheeks indignantly, like she always did when she was annoyed.

Nephyll gulped as she turned, facing the opposite direction of the squirrel. Was she doing the right thing, coming here to see whatever the little annoying fur-ball wanted her to see for its sake? She hoped so.
(Personality)
Nephyll can get easily distracted and stray from a job or errand she is asked to do, and often ends up coming back late from her errands or job. She finds it very hard to concentrate on one particular thing that she isn't really interested in doing. Nephyll is also very adventurous, daring to do the things that a majority of her litter-mates would not do and are afraid of doing. She is also very friendly and kind toward other animals she recognizes that live in the forest which she calls home.
(Why I would like pup 2)
I'd love to apply for pup two, as she's a really gorgeous pup. <3 I love her design, which anyone can tell, had a lot of effort put in to make and come up with. Her colour palette is really beautiful too, I love the way all the colours just sort of seem to blend in together naturally. It gives her a good personality and makes her who she is. c: I might write a story or two for her, I might draw more art of her, and I'll make sure she doesn't collect dust and be unused as she's really just too gorgeous to be un-used. :3
