Shadow doesn't really have a missing leg, that was 2 make it look cool.

What do you mean? Anyway, there is more of the story:


"Winter Blaze, when do you think we will find the herd again?" Shadow asked. "I dunno, Shadow. " Winter Blaze's tears were invisable, but you can tell he was crying by his hacking. "Don't cry, brother." Shadow said. "Sister, I can't help it..." Winter Blaze left behind the words 'I am Winter Blaze Shadow's brother" In the snow. While Shadow left 'I'm Shadow, I might sound like I am a boy, but I'm female" These are a permanent reminder of their visit.
