First off, I'd love some feedback and what you think of the character :3

A new character of mine X3 His current name is Chi but I'm trying to think of a more suitable name for him X3. He's half fox demon and half human (though most think he has a bit of wolf demon in him as well). His design was greatly influenced by the black fox. I'm thinking about writing a story about him but not sure yet :3

Name: Chi

Gender: Male

Age: around 16 (half-demons age at the same rate as humans but most the time live much longer)

SO: Straight


Species: Half-demon (half fox demon with a bit of wolf demon in his blood as well)

Appearance:
Human- *points up* The only thing not shown in the picture is the necklace that he wears, which is a normal necklace with an emerald green star charm on it built to repel demons...this serves to keep Chi's demon side at bay, the thread that the charm is on is very large so the charm often hangs very low down on his chest.
Demon- Half-demons only turn demon when they are under extreme anger or distress. Chi has only become a demon once in his lifetime. Chi's demon form, though mostly fox, is very large because of his wolf demon blood and is the size of an average bear and he has six tails. His fur is mostly a shimmering silvery white color except for his ears and white tipped tails which are all a dark black-gray coloring. Like when he's in his human form his eyes are silver and gold. The thread the charm that Chi wears as a human is on is large enough so that it still hangs like a normal neckalce even when in his demon form...when he's in his demon form the start charm glows blood-red and burns him.

Personality: Despite being half-demon (especailly half wolf demon since wolf demons are known for their viciousness) Chi is very sweet and timid and is quick to submit or apologize. He's much like a young puppy, no matter how much you beat or insult him he always comes back apologizing for something that isn't his fault and seeking your friendship and love once more.

History: Chi's father was a half-wolf fox demon who fell in love with a mortal, Chi's mom. After a year he found out he had a son but sadly was killed by humans before he was able to reach where Chi's mom lived to see his son. Chi's mom was very frail and weak and only got worse after having Chi. She loved him dearly and always tried to protect him no matter the cost to herself. When Chi was five he accidentaly wandered into the yard of a very influential man who's son was playing outside at the time. The son was around 15 years old and decided to attack Chi, who was obviously to young to defend himself. After being socked in the stomach the boy went to hit Chi in the head with a stick when suddenly Chi's mother appeared and slapped the boy in the face, shouting harsh words about him being the demon not Chi. After that he went and told his father who threatened to press charges against Chi and his mother. Angered by this Chi unknowingly turned into a demon and attacked the man, though just as quickly turned human again and cryed when he realized what he'd done. The man told Chi's mother that she better watch herself but in reality he really had no intention of pressing charges. However, the stress of the threat proved to be Chi's mother's undoing and she fell deathly ill and showed no signs of recovering. Chi was also having problems, because his first demon change had came to him so soon in life he was now experiencing sudden flashes of rage and anger in which he would turn into a demon and destroy anything around him before snapping back to reality. A week before Chi's birthday his mother gave him his necklace, telling him to never take it off...she explained that soon the demon inside him will have taken over and that Chi would always be a demon but the necklace would keep that from happening. A week later, on Chi's birthday, his mother died leaving the half-demon boy in the cruel world alone with no one to protect him or talk to.
Soon after Chi was sent to an orphanage where he was continuosly bullied and harrased for the next 10 years. Now, a month before his birthday, he is being sent to a private school that tolerates half-demons where he will have his own dorm.

Chi lives in modern day in which humans know of half-demons and demons along with other 'non-mortal' beings. The relationship between the demons, both half and full, is a tense one and though half-demons are allowed to live amongst normal humans demons are killed on sight. Even though half-demons have been given human rights those rights are greatly reduced, an example of this is that a half-demon has free speech but there are no penalties are charges taken against a human that desides to murder or injure a half-demon because of their actions or words. Half-demons are also allowed to go to school but there is nothing that keeps humans from bullying, insulting, and at times even killings the half-demons attending their schools. Most half-demons and demons guess that these actions are due to the fact that most full demons are cruel and blood-lusting creatures and that many half-demons take up those qualities and therefore humans fear them...and everyone knows what humans do to things they fear. Despite the fact that most demons are evil beings Chi is very kind and timid, acting more human than demon. Even so, he is mostly treated with disdain and cruelty wherever he goes.
