there is a mare like her at the stud where i work, she is very pretty but not many people can handle her as she has been severely mistreated in her last home and can be really dangerous with people but i am one of the lucky few who can i think she has taken a shine to me!
my wild girl is called kingshill spearmint firecracker, her nickname is minty, my parents are talking about buying her for me !
i already have a lovely 3 year old cob called kelvey (i trained him myself!) but he can be a little nutter sometimes , minty can be really vicious towards other people and once when i was riding her in the arena she spooked and lashed out at my instructor but really she is a lovely girl when you get to know her. me and mint have an understanding, i love her and spent time with her and she loves me and will do anything for me in return.
i love my minty, her behavior problems are severe but hey i am 13 and i have been accepted by a mare that most people are afraid to go in the field with, hopefully with a good home and a mega amount of t.l.c she will relax
Hi guys, I have just finished vet school and am working on a highland project managing the moors with a herd of highland ponies. I am happy to answer horsey questions and give advice. but PLEASE don't ask for medical advice, my answer will always be to call a vet.
