I WANT TO ADOPT A KITTEN FROM THE WATER SET

Story/Drawing: Splash, Splash! Aquarius and his sister, Pacific swam gracefully through the water. The two where diving through the splashing currents, seeing who could do it the best. A big wave rolled on top of Aquarius and Pacific, pushing them into the deep sea. The twins swam deeper, pushing with there paws to get to the crystal caves. The crystal caves were the underwater sea caves full of blue zircons, aquamarines, and blue sapphires. It was where the twins were born and raised as orphans. Pacific broke surface first followed by Aquarius. They walked into one of the holes lined with soft, fluffy, moss and feathers. At the top of the cave, a great hole formed millions of years ago, caught the full moon at high. The one giant diamond in the center reflected the light onto every crystal making the cave glitter and sparkle. "Good night!" they both whispered as the light dimmed.

"Pacific! Where are you?" Aquarius called out from the hole, wondering where she had went. It was early morning and they were supposed to be catching fish for their supply was running low. Maybe she went out for a drink! Wading through the shallow water towards the sea, Aquarius kept his eyes open for the teal pelt of his sister. A muffled shriek called from the deep, and the brother dived in. Swimming through the open current, the cries became clearer. Than suddenly it became softer. Aquarius swam upwards a little bit to hear his sister's pleads. Help! Help! Looking around, a gray body sliced through the water. Shark! Dodging quickly, the cat swam as fast as he could behind the shark. There a teal colored cat floated, turning the water scarlet with blood. "Pacific!" he yelled, grabbing her by the scruff. The shark turned, ready to attack. "Pacific, wake up!" Aquarius told her, dodging again. Aquarius knew she wouldn't last long so he swam in front of a hole in the rock. The shark charged, sending all the fish flying. Aquarius flew out at the last second once more, and the shark's head got stuck in the rock. Back to the crystals.

Back at the caves, Aquarius lay the limp cat on her nest. She was coughing badly, and she had lost much blood.
"Aq-Aquarius?" she asked feebly.
"Yes?"
"I love you no matter what!"
"I love you to!"
With a last breath, the little cat died, satisfied with her life. Tears welled up in Aquarius's eyes, and he swam back to shore after sinking his sister wrapped in moss with a single crystal.
"Goodbye!"
