Mewts are an amphibious breed of cats, created in a lab by placing newt DNA into a few kittens. Not all survived, but those that did gained the properties of newts. Mewts now live everywhere in the world, Fuzzy Mewts in cold climates and Slimy Mewts in warm climates. Mewts need water to survive. Each Mewt has the pattern and a few traits of a reptile or amphibian. Ex. Chameleon Mewts have long tongues, Strawberry Dart Frog Mewts have poisonous skin.

Mewts are a closed species meaning you can only buy them for characters or C$/CS pets. Note to mods, I am only selling the designs, not the art. You can buy a specimen of each Mewt for a fixed price. Mewts will not be closed after getting bought, that species stays open. After a year, that species retires and you can only buy them from other people or trade your Mewts for them.
